They say childhood is like a garden and the people in it are like flowers that we believe will always bloom. But time changes gardens. Some flowers were never meant to stay; they were only ever petals scattered by the wind.. Some truths onlyreveal themselves once we grow up. As children, we see love in its purest form — trusting every smile, every hug, every gesture as it’s genuine. But as we grow older, we learn that not every act of love is real. Some people are only pretending, and realizing this can be one of the most painful lessons of growing up. When we are children, love seems simple. The people who smile at us, hold us close, and stay near are the ones we believe truly care about us. some people in our lives during childhood are like this; like they are always around to play, to guide, to make us feel like we belong.
