When Forever Ends Too Soon

She never kept count of little things that she always did for him like waiting for his text all day watching her phone every single second wishing maybe, maybe he would’ve sent any message or waiting for his birthday and always trying to be the first one to wish him, try to cook even though she is bad at cooking just so she could make him happy, earn money just so she could buy him best gifts. For her these were’nt sacrifices; they were love in its purest form. Just like Taylor Swift’s song RED there is a line where she goes

“ Loving him is like driving a new Maserati down a dead end street”

When he laughed, the world seemed to make sense. She memorized his moods better than her own. She forgave quickly, gave endlessly, and built her future around him without hesitation. In her heart, there was no doubt — he was her person, her forever.

But love she always learned was’nt enough at all. The calls grew shorter, such time came that the messages that used to be replied on time were now being left on read. The words that used to carry so much warmth for her, the words that used to bring her worries at ease now became colder. And somewhere between yesterday’s promises and todays silence, she realized that she was carrying the whole burden if the relationship all alone.

She had given him her everything , her pretiest years, her trust, her time, her dreams. Yet when it ended it ended quietly without any warning or without any reason. And all that she felt was just silence, sharp, heavy like a dor closing in the middle of night.

And that was when the realization hit her that her forever and always had ended and the feeling was like how Taylor Swift said in her song FOREVER AND ALWAYS

“And I stare at the phone, he still hasn’t called
And then you feel so low you cant feel nothing at all
And you flashback to when he said, “Forever and always”

At first she did not wanted to believe it she wanted to just think that maybe its all just her overthinking. She thought she had lost herself in losing him. But heartbreak has a way of teaching lessons that joy cannot. She began to see that love given is never wasted. Even when it doesn’t last forever, it leaves behind traces of strength, kindness, and resilience.

Sometimes, letting go isn’t the end of love — it’s the beginning of self-love.

And one day, she’ll love again. But next time, she’ll remember: her heart is not a sacrifice, it’s a gift. And the right person will never let it go to waste.
